Get answers to common questions about Stomach Waxing.

Some discomfort is normal, especially on first treatments, but pain is brief. Our gentle technique and quality wax reduce sensitivity. Most clients report soreness for a few hours to a day; using post-wax calming care minimizes irritation and speeds recovery.

Results vary by hair type and growth cycles, but most clients enjoy smoothness for three to six weeks. Regular waxing can slow regrowth and make hair finer. We recommend scheduling follow-ups every four to six weeks based on your personal rate of regrowth.

Avoid exfoliating or applying lotions 24–48 hours before your appointment. Hair should be at least a quarter-inch long for effective removal. Arrive with clean, dry skin and inform us about medications or recent treatments that may affect sensitivity.

Certain conditions like open wounds, sunburn, severe eczema, psoriasis flare-ups, or recent chemical peels can prevent waxing. Also avoid waxing while on isotretinoin or certain blood-thinning medications. Consult our staff so we can recommend safe alternatives or scheduling adjustments.

Pregnancy is generally safe for external waxing, but hormonal sensitivity may increase discomfort. We recommend checking with your healthcare provider and informing our team about your pregnancy or postpartum status so we can adapt technique and aftercare for comfort and safety.

Keep the area clean and avoid hot baths, saunas, or intense exercise for 24–48 hours. Apply a cool compress and a fragrance-free, soothing lotion or aloe gel as needed. Avoid exfoliation for at least 48 hours and sun exposure for a few days.
