Ensure hair is about a quarter-inch long (no shaving). Avoid heavy lotions, retinoids or tanning 24–48 hours prior. Arrive with clean, dry skin so the technician can wax efficiently and reduce irritation risk.

Some discomfort is normal, especially on first sessions. Our technicians use quick, professional techniques, soothing pressure and aftercare to minimize pain. Take ibuprofen beforehand if you tolerate it, breathe steadily, and consider a topical numbing product if needed.

Most clients enjoy hair-free results for three to six weeks depending on hair growth cycles. Regular waxing can slow regrowth and make hair finer, extending time between appointments for many people.

Mild redness, bumps or tenderness are common and usually fade within a day or two. Rarely, irritation or folliculitis may occur. Follow aftercare and contact us if you see prolonged swelling, blistering, or signs of infection.

Most people can, but we perform a consultation and patch test for sensitive or reactive skin. Avoid waxing if you have sunburn, active skin infections, recent chemical peels, or are on certain blood-thinning medications.

Keep the area clean and avoid heat, heavy sweating, chlorinated pools and sun exposure for 24–48 hours. Apply a soothing, fragrance-free moisturizer or aloe, exfoliate gently after 48–72 hours, and wear loose clothing to reduce friction.
